Together, we will work through The BOSS Technique (see below) that I created based on how I overcame my series of trauma. You will learn that your trauma does not define you and you are the boss of your life and future! We can create a highly customized program one-on-one coaching program.

The BOSS Technique
Become the Boss of Your Life
The BOSS Technique is a proprietary coaching model I created for dealing with all levels of stress. Whether you want to harness the power of stress to achieve huge goals, you want to be able to better manage life’s daily stressors associated with family, career, and multiple competing obligations, or you want to overcome the stress associated with trauma, The BOSS Technique can help!
The BOSS Technique includes four main components:
B = Balance
When you make the decision that enough is enough and you are going to take back control of your life, it is time to become aware of the areas where stress and trauma have infiltrated your life. It’s an opportunity to dream again and decide what you want your future to look like. My job as a life coach is to help you move from where you are, to where you want to be, but we first have to know your starting point and the destination you are aiming for. So we examine the 10 areas of your life (career, finances, contribution, health, personal growth, spirituality, family and friends, romance, recreation, and environment) and devise a plan to bring all areas of your life into harmony.
O = Outcome specification
Once we identify the gap between where you are now and where you want to be, it’s time to set goals to begin to decrease that gap. As a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, I find the Outcome Specification Model, an NLP technique for setting goals, very useful. It allows you to look at the goals you want to achieve, to drill down to the nitty-gritty details on why you want to achieve the goals, and to create a plan for how you are going to achieve them. Part of why trauma and many stressful life events can be so devastating is because they signify a loss of control. Setting goals, and a plan of action to achieve those goals, is extremely empowering and is an important step in beginning to take back control of your life.
S = Self-talk
When you begin to take back control of your life, it’s not uncommon that the nagging inner-critic will begin to rear its ugly head. This is where is can be easy for your negative self-talk to derail your progress towards your goals. This is why it is important to learn how to tame your inner critic and replace self-limiting beliefs that no longer serve you with beliefs and habits that will help you to achieve the goals you are aiming for.
S = Self-care
A critical component to healing from trauma and coping with life’s mounting pressures is learning to take care of yourself and to begin to believe that you deserve love, kindness, compassion, and care. When you really start to feel that you are worthy, you begin to feel that you deserve happiness and success. Self-care is important to build that belief that you are deserving. You don’t wait to practice self-care until you feel worthy. You practice self-care to remind yourself that you are worthy. The more you practice, the more ingrained this belief will become and the more likely you will be to take consistent actions to improve your life.
