Providing Tools to Cope With Workplace Trauma

This video clip is from the two-hour workshop, Overcoming Barriers Caused by Workplace Trauma, Dr. Hutchins conducted with her colleague, Jill McLellan Phelps, MS, BSN, RN during NurseCon at Sea’s 2023 nursing conference cruise to The Bahamas. The same workshop was conducted during NurseCon at Sea's 2023 cruise to the Dominican Republic.

In this part of the workshop, Dr. Hutchins is discussing the similarities between Japanese knotweed, a terribly invasive species where she lives in New York, and the walls we build to protect ourselves from getting hurt again and from remembering our past suffering.
